Baby motor skills development
The goal of this class is to support babies’ psychomotor development through activities focused on motor skills, motor control, and sensory exploration, all tailored to your child's stage of development. The workshops are divided into age groups: 3-5 months, 5-6 months, and 7-12 months.
This class is also designed to equip parents with the tools they need to help their little ones grow to their full potential while fostering a love for movement and exploration. Both parents are welcome!
Each session includes:
✔ A developmentally appropriate wake-up routine based on your child’s age group
✔ Engaging activities and an informative segment related to the theme of the day
✔ A calm-down routine at the end of each session
✔ A progress booklet to track your baby’s milestones
Workshop topics (may slightly vary by age group):
🔹 Introduction, wake-up routines, and reflexes
🔹 Sensory experiences and their role in motor development
🔹 Core and head control
🔹 Mastering anti-gravity positions (tummy time, sitting, crawling, kneeling, standing)
🔹 Encouraging position changes, movement, carrying techniques, and parent-baby exercises
To accommodate as many families as possible, we have adjusted the age groups for the motor skills workshops. Please refer to the age your child will be at the start of the session.
For babies born prematurely, please consider your baby’s corrected age—the age they would be if born full-term.
New! A special introductory Motor Skills Workshop for babies under 3 months is now available (see Workshop section).
